Gluten free and delicious! I died and went to heaven. Owners who are colorful and female is a bonus in my book. I encourage you to eat here. Gourmet southern cheese grits and shrimp with wonderful sausage was my first meal which had me dreaming about this place and had the gluten free meal of the day which was chicken parmigiana on a return visit which did not disappoint. They have sweet tea too, it is Birmingham after all. Organized for take out- be safe. Support a localy owned restaurant.

My sister and I decided to have lunch at the last minute and we wanted to try something different. She sent me a list of options and “Yo Mama’s” was one of them. It was “Pork Chop Tuesday” and we decided to test it out. We both give this a 10/10 from excellent customer service to the food expectations. Good southern cooking and it’s black-owned. ud83dude0bud83dude31 We will definitely be back again.

Everything I've tried here was delicious! We particularly enjoyed the Chicken plate and the Spanish rice with grits. I look forward to a return visit when dine-in is once again an option, but for now I'm glad they do curb-side pickup. You can order online for curbside pick-up and take-out. Second time visiting here! Love the atmosphere! I had the wings plate. Wings were really good, fries were on point, everything was hot and to top it off they thank you by name. I didn't even know they knew my name. Great lunch spot, small but a must try. I plan to go back and will update my review as I try different things on the menu.

I don't like gluten free restaurants, but boy this one is an exception. Their chicken was among the best I've ever eaten, and it was gluten free! It was flavorful, crisp crunchy skin, with a hot moist steaming meat. It just can't get any better. Get the gluten free deep fried Oreo too. Highly recommend.
