Where do I start..... waited about 45 mins for my food. After I make it to my hotel, I realized no ranch dressing for my wings. ud83dude22The grilled cheese was cold and just thrown together (Pic). Ff were so salty that I knew they would have lead to a stroke if I consumed them. Fried pickle okra were too salty. The cornbread was as cold as a dead man! The tea, chicken, and mac&c is the ONLY reason I give this place a 2 star.

Great chicken and employees. I got the mild tender sandwich. I like hot food, and I’m glad I got mild. Chicken starts off sweet, and then the heat kicks in. Employees were very friendly. Next time I’m in town I’ll be back!nnEdit: 2/26 had Eugenes again, ordered mild. Was not hot at all this time. They must’ve misheard me or made it incorrectly the first time. Still tasty tho.

We ordered a variety of items--hot chicken, fried catfish, and all the sides.nnWhile the catfish was perfect, the half chicken was very fatty and greasy. Having to weed out the globs of fat between the chicken skin and the meat made eating the crust/breading a bit of work. It also tasted like they fried both fish and chicken in the same oil. The sides were hit or miss--mac and cheese was dry, fries were wilted, deviled eggs were bland, however the baked beans was great and we loved the fried okra.nnOverall we enjoyed it, but prefer the quality of the hot chicken chain in town.

We went there after going to the car show a short walk from the Civic Center that was well worth it. The people that worked there were friendly and courteous the price of food was very reasonable we talked to the owner and he asked what he could do to make things better a very nice person. Well let me get to the food it was delicious I understood why there was a line to get in and all the to go orders. I don't get to town much but I do go through there and will be stopping to get something to go or if I'm not in a hurry just have a seat I recommend trying Eugene's and see for yourself I'm sure you won't be disappointed

Wow! Just enjoyed the meal from here for the first time. The chicken is super fresh and fried perfectly. The sauce is are amazing. The only knock I had was the fries were wet from condensation but it was delivery so it's not like they could do anything about that. I will absolutely try them fresh one day when I can get into the store. The heat is definitely here! Be wary I got the medium heat and thought I was going to have to go for the milk. Absolutely amazing. Will probably do mild next time though haha. Great job all around
