This is a a review this is a very negativel for shell Oil company a service station located at 5017 10th Ave. N. in Birmingham AL 35212 yesterday 34 2021 March 4, 2021 I purchased gas at 12:09 PM the price of the gas $2..59 a gallon I purchased 17.38 Gallons gas, my total was $45.19. for my van.nI printed the receipt use my credit card and printed out $45.19nnLater on at dinner,Igot an Alert from my bank, Shell Service station charge me $85 for that purchase on my credit card. I looked at the receipt that I printed out from the pump. And I contacted shell, they do not provide a phone number on the receipt.nThenumber on website, They will not answer the phone, goes to the voicemail. I believe they thought I was traveling. This the first time I've used that Shell station they will not answer the phone that on the website they do not have a phone number on the receipt first time, butt last time! I have given themtime, to call me butto no avail. Fraudeleut charges & unarthorized use of my card! If is was an error, why not respond! I will have it disputed as I have the receipt to do a chargeback but the issue is that receipt reflect $45 not $85 so, it possible to make such an error. Now I wonder how many other travelers they did this to. So I warning people to check your receipt and your credit statement from the bank thank! Thank God!, For my bank! Very bad location beware! Buyer aware of them stealing from their clients. I will contact Shell Oil,in Houston Texas and notify them of this matter!. Even though most of the locations are considered independent nearby from different or all companies but they have the Shell logo and that represents something. And they should put their correct phone number on the receipt something is wrong with this.!

Store clerk and associate were friendly. I had some questions regarding Dramamine. They were willing to bring the packaging (behind the counter) closer so I can read medicine details before purchasing.

Guy working there was rude and disrespectful.

Don't stop there at night if there are other options. Nasty part of town for sure. Sad that Birmingham allows such mess at the airport where many visitors can form negative opinions of the town.

Store was very clean and the attendant was very nice. Inside you will find an ATM. There was a nice variety of items even some type of jewelry. This location does not offer hot food but does sell ice and offers propane tank exchanges. The gas pumps were also clean and stocked with window cleaner, squeegees, and paper towels. Gas prices were a little high for the location but the cleanliness and good customer service made the difference tolerable.
