Arguably the best soul food spot in Birmingham. Fresh hot food and great staff. I always feel like I'm at a family members house when I eat there.
This is my second time eating here. Their set up for Covid-19 is very safe. The food was amazing! Fresh and welcoming.
My first visit, but it won't be my last .nFood was great, still hot when I got home. Update.nOk I said I would be back, and I have gone back. Today I went in to get food, hamburger steak with gravy, yam, and black eye peas. I don't know what happen but the food wasn't good at all. The meat was tuff, yam had to much nutmeg peas to salty. Will not be going back.
Our food had been prepared but we had to wait which lead to the sides being cold, the fried chicken wasn't good at all seriously and the butter beans were no fully cooked. Imma need for them to do better.
First time eating here.got their catfish.best catfish I've ever had.will definitely be back several more times
