This is the kind of spot my husband looks for when we travel - good old fashioned country cooking. It's not the cleanest, but they were friendly and had good food.nnMy husband got a hamburger steak with sides (hot okra!) and I got a salad topped with fried shrimp (pretty sure they were SeaPak, but they were hot and delicious nonetheless). Nice option on the road. Cost around $20 for both of us with tip.

From Chicago was in town visiting relatives briefly. Stopped here n had the best breakfast I ever had im my life. Everything taste homemade down to the French toast. Also very inexpensive. If I lived in town I'd eat breakfast there everyday

Great little diner! Super nice staff. The only con i have is they don't accept credit or debit cards.
