Mellow Mushroom Oxford - Anniston

Food is ok, but overpriced in my opinion. Service was good.

We have eaten here quite a few times with no problem. Today we met friends from out of town there. They were not at full capacity. Less than half capacity I would say. It was at least 20 minutes before we had someone take our beverage order. We gave our whole order at 1 time. It took a while to get our sodas. Two of ordered coffee the same time our complete order went in. That took another 20 minutes for one cup of lookwarm coffee. The second cup was hot but arrived after about 10 more minutes. Our appetizer arrived and it was another 10 before our pizza arrived. It was cold around the crust and slightly warm in the middle. You can tell it had been sitting for a while waiting for the server to pick it up. They did not appear to be shorthanded. Our waitress was polite but this whole experience will keep us from coming back for a while, if we return at all. Sad because this place has my favorite pizzas.

My family seeks out Mellow Mushroom in almost every city we visit . This location did not disappoint ! We visited when passing through last week. Great food in a fun and friendly environment ! I had the Elevated Cobb salad & Pretzel bites . SIMPLY AMAZING . Worth cheating on my diet !nThe service was fast and friendly. The servers did not ignore me or my children. I was kind of perplexed when I read Dottie’s review. I think we have all been to a restaurant at least once in our life and been overlooked. It happensIf my child was thirsty, I would have used my woods and big girl voice and summoned a server. I guess I’m a better parent. However, as I continued reading this woman’s little rant, I realized it wasn’t about the restaurant or the wait, it was about her hatred and homophobia. (Wake up Dottie, it’s 2021 )nIronically, I saw the young man with blue/green highlights. He wasn’t our server, but stopped by our table numerous times to ask if we needed refills.nAwesome place! Next time I pass through, I will definitely stop again !

It was great pizza & wings. One thing pay attention to the receipt they charge you for the tip in your receipt. It is already totaled in it is not a suggestion. I didn't pay attention to the receipt. & tipped twice. It was a little crowded for my liking some kid spilled his drink all over my son & grandson. They do have clean bathrooms fast & friendly. They have trivia night on Tuesday. They don't have reservations. They do have outside table's with windbreakers. The best was the wings moist delicious & they are baked. Love them wing's.

Don’t waste your time if you have children with you. Our two asked to go to the MM at Oxford, AL as a Valentine’s dinner. We were seated inside and promptly forgotten. No one would make eye contact to even take our drink order. Called to talk to Mgr and were told it was shift change... really? They had lots of wait staff for others but totally ignored us. Drove from GA line to only be disappointed. We left after waiting so long the kids were complaining they were thirsty and hungry. By the way- these two children are very well behaved. No excuse to ignore these kids. Even the effeminate green haired man wouldn’t smile. Done with this place.
