Allen's Lock & Key

When I called this service I wasn't informed up front that they didn't except debit/credit card or check as a form of payment. Cash only. The rude and suspicious young female wanted to follow me in her vehicle to a ATM machine. She also had another female with her. Her vehicle had nothing on it stating she was with Allen's. At that moment I just so happened to see a friend who happened to have cash. I asked for a receipt. She informed she couldn't provide a receipt, but could send me a text. I'll never call on this service again. Very unprofessional.

This business is close to my office and I've tried to use them a few times thinking it would be convenient; however, that never is the case. I have waisted more time opposed to saving time. Always out of certain sizes of keys, work not done in a timely matter, customer service is lacking, in addition, the store is messy and unorganized.

They arrived exactly when they said they would and they went above and beyond trying to get me back into my house. Troy was terrific and professional. I am so thankful!

I’m only giving one star because that is the very least I could give. I have contacted this place at least 4 times in the past year due to a residential door lock and have yet to have anyone show up. The lady that answers the phone always says, they will call when on way, but can never give me any more detail. When I called today, I had broke a key off in my front door and it wouldn’t lock. She said someone would call on way and I asked would it be today, tomorrow, next week, and she said it would be today. It’s 9:30 pm and I still haven’t heard from them. Luckily, a place in rainbow city did just what they said and came to our rescue to fix our lock.

They told me that they would be at my house at 3:00pm. Didn’t show up and when I contacted them the office manager would not answer the phone. She kept putting me off and making excuses for not showing up. I tried to set up an appointment for the next day but she would not respond. The communication from them was very poor and not what a person that can’t get their vehicle started should expect after being told that they had an appointment. Just very poor customer service!!!!!
