The landing is really lacking. All it is is a massive parking lot, sidewalk, benches, a tree or two and a memorial. The city should add something like a skate park since the nearest one is southside and this place already has a massive parking lot for a foundation.
Great peaceful park. Walking trail and kayak launch would be wonderful.
