Loved watching the train come into the station.

The lady at the desk was not so happy, very nice train ride though, clean facility

The Anniston Alabama Amtrak station is very well-maintained and the station is air-conditioned and restrooms are very clean. They also have a little spot to buy food and watch TV inside while you wait for the train.

The signs posted say they open 1 hour - 30 minutes before a train arrives. Usually the station opens 3-5 minutes before a train, so I cannot even get dropped off by transport. You can't wait outside either, its a very bad part of town to be alone and outside. I really dislike how impromptu they are open opening only minutes before a train, but its better than the hassle of the Birmingham station. Please be more reliable in the future.
