Went for the first time and food wasn’t bad however the service was pretty bad. Took a while just to get the server to bring our drinks, then took a while to get the order. After we got the food he never came back once. I went looking for him to try and get ketchup for the food but never found him and again I had to get up to try and find somebody for to go items. I will add it wasn’t busy at all, one other table was already there and left shortly after our arrival so we were the only ones so I’m not sure what was going on.

I had cornbread salad and a cup of vegetable beef soup. My daughter had the Monte Cristo w/ fries. Only one server in the restaurant. He was obviously trying to get to every table, but the wait times for menu, drinks, order and food were lengthy. Not enough ventilation, therefore you smelled everything the kitchen was cooking - a bit smoky. I enjoyed my soup. My daughter enjoyed her sandwich. If I were to try this restaurant again, I may opt for take out. Perhaps another day would have been better...we ate on a Tuesday evening.

Really great reception, a little slow on getting everything to us. But me and my wife, which was my bride. Received ours pretty quick. Real country cooking.

This little place has such potential. It has spiraled downward in quality ever since we've been going the past four years. The food is not prepared fresh, you get warmed up victuals. The service is uneven and even less enthusiastic.nThe venue is small and inviting, but it doesn't live up to its homey appeal. We've been handed menus and placed orders, only to be told they are not cooking any more of that item that day. What they do serve seems prepared with lackluster endeavor and half hearted concern.nIt's a shame, because we tried to give it a lot of chances. I find it hard to believe the staff would be happy with the food they served if they were playing to eat it.
