I LOVE this trail. First of all, it's located at Dolly Sods which is one of the most fascinating places I've ever been. Secondly, this trail is the definition of enchanting. You feel that at any moment, woodland fairies are going to start flying around. It is the most beautiful trail I've experienced on this side of the country...along with the Deep Gap Trail at Mt. Mitchell State Park. There are some muddy areas along the trail but it's Dolly Sods so it's to be expected. The view from the cliffs is ineffable. I have hiked this trail 3 times and can't wait to go back.
The scenery is absolutely amazing! Easy trail for hiking.
