Bathhouses with showers. Easy hikes to the falls and trails from campground. Sites have little privacy, but are nicely sized.nI wish they actually enforced the 1 tent per campsite rule though. That was one of the big reasons we chose this campground (tired of being kept up all night by large groups of loud people)

Very nice campground, beautiful surroundings and views! Definitely a family oriented campground, with nature centers and petting zoo. I would have preferred the sites to be a little further apart, but we had nice, fairly quiet neighbors. Being the first time here, I didn't expect some of the sites to not be shaded, there's a large grassy area that has half of the sites (inner part of the loop.) Make sure you check with the registrar if you were hoping for a wooded site!

Let me first say that Tucker County is basically my favorite place on Earth. I've been coming here my entire life and have no plans to stop. I also love this iconic state park that has a lot to offer. That being said, the campground won't be at the top of that list. And I'm probably being too picky because of my high expectations, but there are a few drawbacks, in my opinion.nnFirst, and this is specific to my site, the electric box is almost unusable due to its location. I would need at least a 50' RV extension cord to make it work. Also, the sites are fairly unlevel and the dump station isn't the best and in a weird location. Moreover, the sites are not very private.nnThe big benefit to the campground, however, is the location. Blackwater Falls had a lot to offer just in the state park. On top of that, you're very close to Thomas and Davis for stuff to do, and you're not much farther from Canaan Valley.

In the middle of nowhere but absolutely beautiful, quiet and very clean campsite.

The park is great but the camping needs improved. The showers severely need upgraded.
