This place exceeds all of my coffee shop dreams! The barista was super nice and knowledgeable! Plenty of space to lounge and also WiFi. I will absolutely be back!!
I go pretty frequently to the Cafe and I love it every time! The staff is always so nice and helpful! The specialty coffees are my favorite!
I enjoyed visiting Cafe U for the decor and the location, but felt disappointed at the actual coffee I received. The setting with its furniture and comfy atmosphere is very nice, and I loved all the history in the house. Also enjoyed the friendly staff. I came really wanting a good cup of coffee, though, and Cafe U's brew seemed really weak and watery, with hardly any acidity to the cup. This seems like one of those places for people who really want flavors in their coffee, but not the coffee itself. Specialty coffee is hard, but it can be improved, so I'll come back soon.
