Another awesome place to visit within Austin city limits. We took a small lunch to picnic outside the premises but still enjoy the view of the many peacocks that are residents of this park. There was more people that I expected but it quickly cleared up. Best time to go is around 3pm. By this time many people are heading out. Parking becomes easier and you’ll get to enjoy the park a lot more. Definitely worth a return trip.

Never thought I'd see a nature preserve with free roaming peacocks in Austin! There are way more peacocks than I thought, and they're not afraid to come up close. I met someone who worked there and she was very kind! It's got great trails and a very zen natural vibe in the peacock habitat. Lots of small ponds, palm trees, etc. A really cool place to bring kiddos if they can respect the wildlife.

Good spot for a quick pit stop while passing through the city. It is tucked away in a very nice shaded spot. The sculptures are spread out over the property. Many opportunities for some nice photos.

This is a beautiful place to visit, away from the city, and relax! The peacock are beautiful and stunning. The trails are enjoyable and is fairly quiet at this moment. The only negative is the lookout point since it is not much of a view, but is negligible, compared to the rest of the park.

Free roaming peacocks and koi ponds inside this nature preserve with plenty of room for visitors to enjoy the scenery. Admission was free. Come watch these beautiful creatures up close and maybe you might get lucky with one of the peacocks that spreads it’s feathers, truly a sight to see.
