Miss Vicky Carter was initially referred to me through my father-in-law I first called Miss Vicky Carter about my wife situation I explained how the probation department was being of no assistance and that we live in San Antonio and they were trying to transfer her to a halfway house in Odessa which makes no sense because we do not live in Abilene. Not to mention we needed her probation transferred to San Antonio. Miss Vicky Carter said that she would charge $1000 and then asked how much of that do I have I stated I had $300 she said for me to call back when I had the rest so I said OK I would and I hung up but within a couple hours she called back Unexpectedly she called back quite frantically and excited and then beganto tell me that she just got off the phone with Tiffany Edwards my wife’s probation officer and she was no help so she talk to theprobation supervisor He said that he would help her and us . she stated to me that she would prepare a motion to transfer Probation . and that the probation department would get the halfway house problem fixed . I then told Miss Carter how appreciative and excited and hopeful I was and that I couldn’t wait to tell my wife she then stated to me to be careful what I said over the phone and not to tell my wife what she told me which I thought was kind of weird but nevertheless I complied. She then began to press me for $300 asking if I had the cash app several times I explain to her I did not she said how soon can I get her the cash this kind of back-and-forth went on for a few minutes I then stated I could get my father-in-law or my wife’s grandma to pay her that day she said no she did not want them knowing I said OK so I sent $300 cash to my son in Abilene and he dropped it off in her mail slot. I then called the next day to verify she had received The money and she did she then told me to call back at the end of the week and hopefully she would’ve heard something I called back at the end of the week and I got no answer so I left a message I have been calling every week sometimes twice a week since then it is now June and not once has she ever returned a phone call and email or send a text I did one time talk to an assistant of hers she said she received my message from the night before and gave it to Vicky but she would be out of town for the week but that Vicky would get back with me but again this never happened this was a lie after talking to the probation department it has come to my attention no one except for me has ever contacted the probation department in regards to my wife situation I feel like Miss Vicky Carter has done nothing but scam me and my wife she took advantage of my vulnerability and like a thief in the night I have not heard from her the whole situation is really shady from the beginning when she originally wouldn’t take the case unless I had all the money and then calling back to tell me she would take the case and how fast can I send her the money because she just got off the phone and made progress for my case unfortunately everything with her has been a light up until this point my wife has been lost in the system due to Covid they have already extended herStay there 30 days she is still scheduled to go to Odessa to a halfway house her probation is not transferred down here and my wife is still lost in the system
