I had to get my car to the service shop by looming closing time. The driver quoted what I thought a high price and demanded all cash, the total of which I didn't have. We continued to negotiate the payment method via text, never agreeing on the method. Meanwhile, I contacted other tow companies, arranged a different tow for $55 dollars less for the same service, and paid by bank card. By the time I got off the telephone, the Platinum driver was already at my location. When I explained I had made other arrangements, he became verbally hostile, argumentative, and threatening me with legal action for alleged breach of contract and theft of services. I advised him that I am a lawyer and no legal claims exist. He kept arguing and threatening until I called the police. Then he sped away. He kept sending me threatening texts after he left.
Platinum was quick and very fairly priced.nDefinitely recommend for any towing needs. Thet even recommended a good mechanic shop to take it to, which also got me a discount a the shop for Platinum taking me.
My vehicle was stuck on side of road and was not starting. Platinum tried to jump us off AND provide fuel at no extra cost just to help!nUltimately I had to get a tow to a local mechanic shop.nI stay in the Watauga/North Richland Hills area and I will no longer use anybody else other than Platinum towing and roadside!nThey were very polite and I could tell they care about helping others!
I only trust very FEW companies to tow my vehicles. ESPECIALLY MY ANTIQUE CORVETTE.nI was VERY impressed with the way Terek & Don were able to transport my baby.nAKA: My Corvette.nThey were also very careful, caring, and also some overall awesome guys.nI definitely recommend them to anyone in the Watauga, Nrh, Keller or anywhere in the DFW area altogether!
