Need more information about planes
Awesome place to let the kiddos run and play! Wish they had better options such as slides and an actual playground. But overall amazing place!
I wish there was a way to get closer to the runway, but that's no doubt an issue of safety. It would be great if the arriving or departing planes passed overhead. The viewing area lies east of the big east-west runway, so it's possible they do pass overhead and I've simply never been there for it. I certainly recommend checking it out!
A great place to sit and watch the planes land and takeoff. I've been going there for years, since before they even modernized it. The ONLY thing that is disappointing is that planes almost always land from north to south. So while you get a great view of them landing and taking off, you miss the thrill of seeing them approach the runway as they roar over your head on the east/west runway. Other than that, great place to spend a couple of hours.
Watched planes for couple hours while mother was in hospital. Kids loved it and learned few things.
