Great place to spend you lunch break. Lots of parking available and several picnic and covered areas to get out of the rain. I stopped here for lunch and enjoyed watching the geese I even saw some butterflies on some flowers along the road. This would be a great place to bring your kids for an afternoon of fishing. It is right next to a busy road so it's not as quiet as I usually prefer but the views are good for the area. The pond seems to have a good number of fish as several people caught fish and the short of a time I was there.
My dad recently passed and we would come out to fish, so there's great memories here,
Alsome lake
Gorgeous lake and scenery. Wish the picnic tables were better maintained, they're always covered in bird poop or mud but other than that it's beautiful there.
Nice open fishing but overfished. You can be there all day and not catch a darn thing
