The gym is fine. The cost is ok. But you better be prepared to keep paying for whatever you sign up for for at least 6 months no matter how much or little you're satisfied with it. Otherwise, if you try to cancel, they'll charge you an arm and a leg for it. So might as well get your money's worth. Also, be aware that the personal training is really good, but the actual company is really shady with how they charge. My trainer was sick one week so we canceled, then I got sick so I missed two sessions and I got charged for them anyways, and I found out that they just keep charging for sessions, whether you actually go or not, so you're supposed to make them up, or something, I guess. If you just want to work out, get the cheapest option, don't listen to their shady salespeople trying to get you to get the premium. Don't be tricked into it. PS if VASA actually reads this, paying your salespeople with commission just annoys the customer, rather than getting them to get the better plans. If you want us to get the better plans, treat us fairly and make them worth it. THE END (sorry for the novel) TLDR: Good gym, good people that work there, shady company, be prepared for all sorts of fees out of the blue.

I requested my membership to be canceled and was told that I would receive a confirmation email. Why have I not received the email? Now they say that they have found my account and it is not canceled. Then 2 minutes later they say your account is officially canceled now. Still no email to confirm that my membership is canceled. I have received everyone's emails except for yours. Why do you continue to claim that you provided the email when clearly you didn't. Just a scam to keep charging members by not confirming that the membership is canceled.

My original trainer I had was let go and I was assigned a new trainer. However, I'm not getting much out of these training sessions and my new trainer is horrible about reaching out to schedule with me. I have expressed my concerns and he is the only trainer available during the time frame I am free. I wanted to just cancel but was told I can either sell my membership and pay $100 or I'd have to be 25 miles away from VASA fitness. I don't understand why I can't just buy out my contract or cancel when none of this is my fault. This has been an extremely negative experience which is a shame, since I've been a long time member at my VASA location.

I was a member for over two years. And when COVID hit my membership, like many, was put on hold. I did not receive any sort of proper and clear notice asking me if I would like to reinstate my account, and was charged for multiple months even though the last time I had entered a location was in February. When I disputed the charges due to a global panic, the gym did nothing to help me. Absolutely shocking. They do not care about their customers at all. I have canceled my membership.

...I’ve been told someone will reach out to me quickly, and they haven’t. See my original post. We’re on to two months of spinning wheels and hollow solutions from Vasa; but they want to charge me for non-use of their facilities while they’ve been delaying helping me. I’m waiting for Vasa to step up and resolve my issues.
