Great RV Park lots of space between campers. Nice bathroom and showers. If you like to see deer this is the park to come to!

My 3 year old and I travel fulltime. Since Sept 2019 we have been from New Hampshire to Nebraska and down to Texas. Housesitting, staying in Airbnb's and camping. This was our first experience where people thought or said anything to us to make us think they thought we were homeless. It was awkward.nnThe park itself is really nice. Showers, laundry, a nature trail. We found this on a fluke while driving down to Ingram. I had never seen tent only sites outside the big state parks. Being Texas it doesn't get that cold and at $10 a night I thought it was going to be fun. And it was! We stayed one week.nnSuper clean! I honestly don't think I saw a single piece of trash.nnSo the park itself was lovely. Unfortunately a few other visitors made us uncomfortable. I am sure they meant well but it never feels good when people look down on you. Especially if it's for an untrue reason. A man asked us if we had enough food. A few different women on different days asked us if we were okay and if we had enough heat. And someone called the Sheriff. He was super polite but came by for a welfare check. It was very embarrassing. We were camping in a tent. In a paid tent only section. I don't know if it was because it was winter or during Covid19 or that I had a child with me but for whatever reason these people felt it was okay to inquire about things like food and heat.nnNeedless to say, we won't be back but it has nothing to do with the park itself. The staff is lovely and again, the whole park is clean, quiet and safe. Awesome wifi.
