A nice place to come and release stress. Peaceful time
It's a nice place to fish alot of catfish sunfish and largemouth bass
I've heard there's good fishing but i haven't been able to figure out for myself. Access to the lake is extremely limited, with most gates being locked and having a 'do not trespass' sign. This is despite the lake (as of early 2020) still being officially open to the public. Your only way in is by parking in a shady neighborhood, and walking over a pipe (which spans a deep, bone dry canal) with no guard rails or saftey measures at all. After calling the Edinburg Parks & Rec office, it seems like even they don't know what the hell is going on with the lake, like they've just bailed on it and left it forgotten. All I'm saying is, somebody will eventually get hurt thanks to the insanely short sighted solutions they've come up with to keep cars from parking on the lake.
We had a lot of fun evendo we didn't catch anything
Nice quiet place. Dis not get many bites with lure so I'll take worms next time.
