I was fortunate to be able to dine with my wife and our wonderful neighbors last night. As we walked in we were graciously greeted by one of the owners. We were quickly seated and attended to by our very professional server. The decor and ambiance is very relaxing and inviting. The drinks from the bar were quickly delivered and top notch in quality and presentation. The cheese board appetizer was fresh and absolutely delicious. The main dish was every bit as good as the appetizer. I have seen reviews that say W456 is over priced. I don’t get that. I thought it was very reasonable. It is an upscale restaurant. You feel it the moment you walk in. Food and service is first class. I’ll be back often. Great experience.

I had the Wagyu hamburger with fries. So good! The patio has a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely go back.

My wife and I have enjoyed meals at W456 five times. One Sunday brunch, once for late lunch, my 70th birthday party for dinner, once for a random dinner and just last night for dinner as guests with the owners David and Thomas. Every time we were there the service was absolutely excellent and the food was always beyond excellent. Not to mention the value. The price of the meals we had were in line or below what you would pay at another equivalent restaurant. I will always choose to give W456 my business over any other high end restaurant in the area.

It seemed as though this place could have had and/or is usually the spot with a five star amazing turnout. Unfortunately, we had a few bumps this go around that did not make it so amazing...and it was our first time as well as it being later in the evening. I am hopeful that the second time will be better....

Excellent food with nice variety of choice. The ambiance inside and out is wonderful! You could set this restaurant anywhere, and it would create an awesome following! Thomas, the owner, really cares for his staff and customers alike. He is always looking for ways to improve. Pretty hard considering how great it already is!nnMy wife and I are now full-timers on the lake, and every single family or friend that visits WILL experience W456 with us! Love sitting outside on the patio! Ambiance is so creative and enticing! Beyond normal fans, Thomas purchased portable A/C units that are fantastic! Can’t believe I am dining outside in mid-August in Texas! Unheard of!!nnDrinks, apps, entrees, sides & desserts...we haven’t had a single bad item yet! Kudos to the chef! The staff are also so friendly and attentive! I’m just so grateful to have such a wonderful place in GBC!! Thank you, Thomas!nnIf you try W456 just once, you will be hooked! Let’s support our local merchants! Better make reservations if you want to get in! We need Thomas and W456 to thrive! Really fine dining is hard to find any where, much less a lake community. Keep up the good work, W456!
