There are a couple of menu items that we liked. Cheese enchilada and quesadilla. This is definitely American style fast food with a hint of Tex-Mex. Marginally better than some other fast food places. The staff does a very good job of completing orders quickly.

This little place is awesome!! Food is great and the employees are always so friendly!!! Wish other fast food places would take courtesy tips from Don Juan's employees......

Wanted to try this place because its near our new house.nWas disappointed because the only items close to being authentic Mexican food was the rice and beans.nThe food selection is similar to what you would find at a bowling alley or some kind of snack shack.nWe chose the $9 combination plates so we could sample a few items. We also took our order to go since there were people inside standing around without a mask.nWORSE PART was the packing of the drive thru orders. I was handed 1 plate covered with foil. Then another plate also covered with foil. Then 2 separate small bags.nSO THIS PLACE DOESN'T USE COVERED TO GO PLATES OR EVEN BAGSud83eudd26nI had to carry the plates stacked on top of each other & then hope not to drop the 2 small bags or the contents.nNeedless to say - we will not be returning to Don Juan's.nAND THERE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ROMANTIC ABOUT THE PLACE.

not good, just ok. generous portions but only crunchy tacos and the tamales were small. sauce was not good. maybe some people like it but it wasn't what i expected, really was looking for a restaurant not fast food. lower expectations and you may love it.

Nice, clean, polite establishment. Don Juans has been an area favorite around Grand Prairie, TX for generations. Exciting that Don Juans has come to the Cedar Creek Lake area. Best fast(ish) Mexican food anywhere. Old style order at the counter sit where you'd like dining or drive thru. I recommend the entire menu but the guacamole and the refried beans are a must try with any meal. Family owned small business and the owners are good people. To stay as green as possible they reuse boxes for large togo orders. My family and I make a 30 minute drive at least once a week to eat DJs. Great place and the daily specials are great deals. Taco Thursday!
