Dairy Queen is a great place to get ice cream, no matter where you live, but this particular location is not great. The food is fine and the ice cream is great! I have a lot of food sensitivities and they have added a dairy-free Dilly Bar which is amazingly delicious! (It's about time!) That being said, the staff seems to change a lot and there is usually communication trouble. It may be because the speaker to order is off the highway but it seems to be the employees. Another huge problem is their location and layout. They're right off of I35 and FM 150, both very busy roads, there's an entrance to DQ from both roads as well but a small parking lot. The line of cars to order is typically wrapped around the building if not spilling out onto the I35 feeder road. The inside of the DQ is also very small. This was all built and planned prior to the city of Kyle's huge increase in population, needless to say it seems to have outgrown its current building/lot size. I think the owners should consider relocating or expanding their current site.

Long lines. Honestly I think they need to rethink their drive through system. There are so many other drive through systems that would be a benefit.nnThere’s.nOrder with a standing order taker, and park. We bring you food.nnThere’s also.nIf you have a large order and you’re now waiting at the window. Park in a designated spot. We bring the order to you.nnMany systems that prevent me waiting 1:30 to get a blizzard.nnJust saying.

Great customer service! Staff was very nice and food was on point. Definitely coming again next time we are in area..

Writing this while stuck waiting in the drive thru line. We’ve been here at least one hour, and there were probably 8 or 9 cars ahead of us when we arrived. There’s no telling when we’ll get our food. We’re trapped here and the sun is going down. Might as well order breakfast at this rate. My three iguanas could manage a fast food joint better than these shlubs.

Lots of traffic at this location. Food appearance was not like the pictures.nBest part of meal was the blizzard. At least they didn't mess up on that.
