Passing through on the way back home to Indiana, we chose this restaurant based on other reviews. It sits a couple of blocks off the main thoroughfare on a quiet residential street. The owners were very jovial and welcoming. There appeared to be a lot of regular customers coming and going so we had high hopes. Happily those hopes turned out to be well placed. The brisket was so tender it fell apart on the fork. The ribs were smoky perfection. The potato salad was creamy and mild, while the beans were savory to the point I sopped up the liquid with the softest white bread I’ve ever had. The owner brought us some sauce I can only describe as sweet heat but well worth the tingling left in my mouth ud83dude00
The fried ribs are worth their weight in gold. Food was amazing
