Love this school. The faculty is awesome , the teachers are great, can't say enough. My son has attended some very expensive schools and this one is the best hands down. There is accountability for the students and yet so much kindness and proper care. You get so much more than you pay for. God must really be at work in this place because it is special in every sense of the word. We are so grateful to be here.
I was actually a former student of this school, and had only attended for one day before I was withdrawn. The teachers are nice and all, but the problem is actually with most of the students and the way the teachers handle it. When I was with my 8th grade group, and others for that matter, I began to notice right off the bat that no one was paying any attention to the teachers. Everyone, and I mean basically EVERYONE, at some point or another, was blaring music from their airpods, playing games on their phone, or such. Do you know how distracting it is to work with everyone on their phones!? Behind the teachers backs, they would talk about things and show videos that were so outright disgusting that I began to question even my own sanity after a few minutes of being around them. The teachers are worn out by trying to make the students listen to them, and sometimes seem like they just don't care. It honestly shook me to my core at some of the things I heard from the students, and I actually fell into a state of depression for an hour to an hour and a half. My friend Christian, who I met when I had walked in, declared that I look so completely broken that he hardly wanted to leave to go play basketball in case something was wrong. I assured him I was fine, and he could go play it if he wanted to. I want to say right here right now that he was the only fellow I could find who didn't act like the others and that I shall probably never see him again. He was a good friend to me, and I hope that things turn out well for him in the future. Also, I was not given a book at History because they were out of copies. So what did they do? I had to sit through an hour of silence while others worked, with nothing to do, and not even a pencil on hand. I mean, come on. Couldn't they at least have found SOMETHING for me to look over? I must admit, I enjoyed chapel, but it occurred to me that they were playing some type of music with lyrics talking about Christ, and it kind of made me think. The only possible reason they play that type of music in particular is to satisfy the tastes of the teenagers there, while singing about God. And that rang an alarm in my head. If you want to play music representing God, play some traditional Christian hymns. It's more efficient than whatever they played, I can guarantee. I could ramble for hours on the faults and flaws of the school, and believe me, I found a lot. So during the period in which I was quietly reminiscing to myself during history, I asked myself if God would approve of this school, and my answer is I would rather die than be caught there in the state it's in. And all of this goes behind the staff's backs too, like they're oblivious to it. If they were brought to attention of the things I've witnessed, they might take some action, and I hope they do. I would honestly not recommend this school until they can straighten the character of their school. I'm outright disgraced by it, and hope that in the future, no one will have to go through this like I have. The headmaster of the school did tell my mother that he is going to immediately take action and try to stop all this, and he was sorry to see me go. I'm sorry I have to do this, but there is no other way. I'm not going back and I can't go back, no matter what happens, and I'm content to home-school in the manner I've always done. I don't usually write reviews, but I hope you could get a good inside look on what went on behind your backs and attempt to stop it, if you can. And I guess you could say I only went to school for the jacket. I hope you all have a good day, since I need to catch up on my own school for that matter. Thank you for your time, see you around.
I liked the daycare overall, but my problem began when my son was getting bit every other day. I understand that biting can occur in any daycare. my issue was the way they handled it. I felt like they would rather put up with a kid biting other kids, than lose the weekly tuition. I had no choice to withdraw him.
I absolutely love their daycare! My two children have been attending this school for over a month now and I couldn’t be happier with our experience with this school. I’ve tried several different daycares in the area and none have made me feel like my children were taken care of as much as they should be. I highly recommend this school!
My grandson began here at 6 weeks of age in the childcare facility and stayed until he graduated high school. Throughout his years at Faith Christian Academy there have been three Administrative changes and the one thing that stayed constant was the presence of the Lord, and the family feel.nnFaith Christian Academy has prepared him well as he was accepted into various Universities in Texas. His first year at SAGU he was very surprised at how many students were not as well prepared as he was for college courses.nnThe money I spent at Faith Christian Academy was very well spent and I would have spent 2 or 3 times as much for the education and life lessons he received.
