My father was cared for in the last month is of his life at Paramount! The staff is wonderful and so is administration—thoughtful and caring! Clearly there are people who write reviews perhaps out of anger or frustration, but one bad experience does not mean this is a bad place. Bed sores happen the elderly can no longer move, it happens. The people are n the hall in the wheelchairs...where else are they going to go? Isn’t it better to be surrounded by people? Giving them an opportunity to see people come and go rather than the solitary 4 walls of a bedroom. My father was in a place before were he was neglected and didn’t receive the care he needed. Paramount by far exceeded our expectations for my father care. The staff shows that they care. Observe. The place is clean. I would recommend this nursing home! I’m sorry for the people who did not have the same experience but my recommendation is to go in and observe, you will see that they care!

My 73 year old mother, who had a stroke in February 2019, and soon afterward was diagnosed with dementia feels more at home here than she has at two previous nursing homes she resided in.nnBefore I admitted my mother to Focused Care Nursing Home (previously known as Paramount Senior Care, Nursing Home) my sisters and I were eager to get our mother relocated to a different facility as we had concerns at her current one. Upon calling the center I was immediately greeted with friendly, sweet Grace, one of the Directors of Focused Care in Pasadena, Texas and the rest is history. Grace welcomed me with open arms and invited me to tour her facility for my mothers placement, and a week later we had my mom transferred. My mother has been living at Focused Care for approximately 4 months and, though there are some things she wishes were different in her life (of course she'd rather live at home with one of her children) she is pleased and content with her stay at Focused Care and has befriended/bonded with some of the staff, particularly Michelle, one of the Receptionists. My sisters and my mother and I all love Michelle and Grace so much and their presence there is so nice and comforting. As far as the Nursing staff goes, they are great as well. My mothers nurse has been Madison and Juanita (sp?) who have been loving, kind, and patient with my mother whom can sometimes be a challenge, occasionally a bit on the grumpy side. The staff and residents seems to get along harmoniously, and I love the open atmosphere, which leaves everybody working and being around one another, no opportunities for possible discreet mistreatment. Focused Care in Pasadena, Texas is a great place and I highly recommend them.

I have worked there. Nice place to go for rehab or for becoming a resident. Nice aids. Pretty happy with the place.

They dont car for there patients never tend to them. never give them there meds when they should they leave them to tend for there own self..

I have a friend who lives there. The times I go visit her the staff have been polite. It's been clean and it doesn't smell like some other places.
