I've been a part of this group for about 10 months and I love it. John and Lau are great leaders and take pride in passing on the teachings of Kenneth Chung to every person who walks through the door. Everything is taught with proper structure and positioning, as well as patience, which allows for maximum effectiveness. Money and flashiness mean nothing to this group; only hard work and dedication.
Ive been coming here for three years. Many students have been here much longer than that. John and Lau do a great job of teaching from Kenneth Chung's instruction. Very welcoming and friendly atmosphere, but also serious about learning Wing Chun.
I've attended class there for years now and they offer a unique & authentic way of learning Wing Chun. Most places have that one main teacher who has all the experience but can only be at one place with one person at a time. HWCA has 5+ senior members with 10+ years of active experience under Sifu Ken Chung via Leung Sheung Wing Chun Lineage. The class is laid back & focuses mainly on optimizing WC positioning & sensitivity through practicing the 3 sets and sticky hands.
