Alright, so we had a group of five from Kansas City. We know KC BBQ. This was not it. But man, once we got over the culture shock, these guys throw down! Smoked wings, good! Prime rib, good! Drinks, good! Turns out, they are usually only open for lunch. But when I come back to Houston, I'm coming back here. Show me what else you got!
First time there,food was okay not the best,but i will go back.
Was really excited about this. Disappointed. Sweet pickles, bland sides and meh brisket. Rudy's is better. Sausage was amazing. Service was great.
Glad I finally was able to try it out, BUT was very unimpressed. Guess I expected more based on reviews.nnFirst off, somewhat pricey. Sandwich and two small sides for $20.00.nnBrisket has lots of fat and a bit dry. The bread is so thick it felt like you're biting into a whole loaf of bread and not a sandwich.nnCucumber salad was so bad I couldn't eat it. I've had cucumber salad from another bbq place and it doesn't even compare. The potato salad also is very bland and too much celery for my taste.
Great vibes with w/ a classic yet creative menu. Some of the best bbq in town. Brisket fried rices slaps like no other!!
