As a traveling salesman I like to find a nice spot to relax and have my lunch and plan things out. Anytime I’m in the area I always grab lunch and go park here near the boat landing to enjoy the river view. From what I’ve seen, it’s a pretty large area with some shelters scattered around, walking paths and loads of space to enjoy outdoor activities. Pretty well maintained and clean.
I love the park for walking around on the path... except for the nuisance geese. It's like an obstacle course trying to dodge the goose poop which covers the path...and many people do not follow the entrance/exit signs so then there is traffic coming from behind while you are walking. I always walk in the direction that faces traffic if they are going the correct way. I walk my dog and always pick up but many people just let their dogs go wherever and never pick up after them
Nice roadside park running along Wisconsin River with fishing, frisbee golf, playground and boat ramp. Pavilion and tables, along with trash cans scattered throughout make this park a solid picnicking spot. Nearby gas and quick service food add to convience.
Calm, quite. Nice place to rest a bit and enjoy being outside. We weren't there long.
Love seeing the christmas displays and the Nekoosa parade, and the fireworks were great to start our Christmas traditions this year.
