I needed Larry and his team to do some work for my new restaurant. I picked out the colors for the exterior and interior paint jobs that needed to be done and Larry worked diligently with me to make sure that the color shades matched the theme I had in mind.nnI was so impressed by the paint job that I decided to have them work on my fence, carpentry, deep-cleaning and flooring. Everything turned out great and I was able to get that chic, modern look I was looking for.nnLarry also is very friendly, listened carefully and actually made recommendations to fix things that I had overlooked. Once the job was complete he always sent me pictures since I wasn't always available to be on site.

Larry and his crew are wonderful!! They were very professional, and made sure everything was to my liking. They went above and beyond what was expected. I will definitely use him on other projects!!

I called Kustom Koatings to come out for a free estimate on painting the exterior of my 1600sqft house and detached 2 car garage and they came out the same day and had a price that I could not turn down Larry went into detail on what they would do and how long it would take. Larry told us it would take 1 week to complete the job. Larry started on Thursday and the job was completed the next Thursday. Larry kept us up to date on the whole process and went above and beyond to meet our expectations. My wife was so happy we went with Kustom Koatings because of the job they did she is getting a list for them to do for her next project.nnThank you Larry and Kustom Koatings

Larry and Richard were Fabulous on what they did came in got the job done took their time and did a wonderful job and Richards wife also was a great help also would have them come back for another job when one is needed to be done thanks for a great job done y’all The Nelson Family

I would not recommend doing business with Larry or Kustom Koatings based on our experiences outlined below. Larry turned a 4 week (max) interior paint job (cabinets, wall and trim) into a 7 week long headache which eventually ended with Larry double-booked and the job very incomplete before he finally walked out on us. To be fair, some delays were outside of our control, but Larry would typically use those as an excuse for not painting other rooms or parts of the project instead of managing through the delays. None of the delays should have prevented Larry and crew from finishing the upstairs (and rest of house for that matter), which is still not complete requiring fixes in every room. Half the windows upstairs are still not cut in and there is overspray on walls from where they sprayed window sills/sitting bench that was never painted over. Several walls were oversprayed or painted with the wrong paint (satin/semi instead of flat) This left a noticeable 'sheen' that was never fully painted over. We went out of our way to make sure Larry had an open canvas to paint and he assured us it would be high quality work. We removed all furniture from every room to be painted (upstairs and downstairs) and informed Larry that we would have all upstairs carpet torn out so he would have less to prep before he sprayed the baseboards. Rather than wait until carpets were pulled (he only needed to wait until day 2 of the project when our carpet installer could come to perform tear out), Larry went ahead and sprayed the trim while the carpets were in place which left an outline of the carpet on the bottom of the trim and painted some of the carpet directly onto the trim. We dismissed this at first as not a big deal and Larry said he would have his crew fix the bottom of the baseboard, which they later tried to do with FOAM BRUSHES! We only got nervous when we realized the new carpet was considerably lower pile than the old carpet and baseboards were going to look awful after new carpet was installed.nnOur observation was no sanding or prep work of pretty much any kind was performed on the baseboards. The crew created more work for themselves by not covering or taping trim that had already been sprayed and then dripping paint on it while painting the walls. Overspray was found on many of the door handles (even though they removed them). Not even sure how that happens. I was always reassured by Larry that drips, errors, etc. would be fixed, but never was. To his credit, Larry was always quick to point out mishaps or things that he was going to go back and touch-up, but I can't point to a single major item that was then later fixed.nnThe job site started very clean and orderly and Larry did a good job of painting our new custom cabinets...at least the ones he finished. Sadly, the rest of the work was lacking. They lazily did not cover most of the windows before spraying window sills. This left overspray on almost every window, with what I can only assume was an intent to scrape off later, but never did. I blame myself for paying Larry too much as he exaggerated the degree of completion. I paid in good faith trusting he would complete the project and even paid extra to cover change orders. Shame on me for trusting someone to keep their word. Ultimately, there was more work left than there were dollars left in our contract price, so Larry went MIA and said he would rather lose his ending balance than complete the project. He will refute this saying there was only 2 days of work left. Sadly, like his other unfulfilled promises, this is a gross misrepresentation and I have the pictures of what remains to prove it. I'm terribly disappointed in Kustom Koatings and have many pictures to back up the way he left our house. Still have several doors half-painted and off their hinges. Come to think of it, where are those hinges Larry? I would avoid doing business with them at all costs.
