Such an awesome place! Camped, tubed and spent the say day there! The staff are awesome it's such a beautiful and clean place! Family friendly and fun for all!

Fantastic place for relaxing in the water and recuperating during these wild times.nnMake sure that you know the exact address that you’re going. Because there are four different Son’s locations it’s extremely easy to go to the wrong place.

Clean place and friendly staff but too overcrowded during the day, our tent was clean but hot when we arrived around noon which it was like 98F not enough privacy the space between each tent is like 5 feet, so not a good honeymoon idea if you know what I mean. They supplied everything you need, coffee maker, fridge, microwave, plates & cups, ours didn’t have silverware but i was glad i packed some. The only issues i had was our A/C stopped working several times during the night and early morning so it was a very uncomfortable night and the tent didn’t had any type of openings (windows) around to get some breeze except for the front. So if you like socializing, loud music, random people asking you for stuff they forgot to bring, kids running around and screaming, and dont mind the Texas heat then you’ll love this place. In conclusion this is a nice place but I’m sure there are better places that have more privacy if you trying to get away from everything & everyone with your significant other.

Our experience at Son’s River Ranch was awesome. Our family had so much fun! The area and bathrooms were very clean and the staff was friendly and very helpful. Shout out to Jeff and Tim for going beyond expectations. This place is great!

My family and I visited Sons river ranch back in August for my Birthday and we had a blast. Their employees were very nice and helpful. We camped for two nights and rented their Cabana. The tents are great. They had lighting and pretty good size fans. Our overnight stay was comfortable, not hot at all. The cabanas were good but there was no fan or electricity. The biggest downside was that there was no showers and restrooms. They only have porta potties and I don’t think they got cleaned out the 3 days we were there. They have kayaking and tube rentals which I’d recommend you book in person. We booked 4 online but only used 3 and didn’t get a refund. This was our first time floating the river and had an amazing time. Looking forward to our next vacation here, will try the clamping option next :)
