I got to take an in-depth tour with the principal Mrs. Williams and it was a pleasant experience. Their educational program is top notch and their robotics team just won state! They care deeply about their students and take great pride in their school.

We chose the Galloway School primarily based on the recommendations of middle school teachers teaching in the gifted and talented program in area public schools. In their experience, they observed students leaving Galloway to be not only academically advanced, but also disciplined and well mannered.nnWe like the fact that our pre-k 4 daughter's class is capped at 12 students, so she gets a lot of one-on-one attention. The atmosphere of the entire school is nurturing and positive and our daughter actually loves to go to school.nnCompared to a free public education, it is a sacrifice; but well worth the investment. We couldn't be more happy!

Both of our daughters have attended The Galloway School since PK3 - our oldest is now finishing 2nd grade. We love it and they love it! Best academics and school environment around! Class sizes are small and are capped at 12 for younger grades and at 16 for older grades, so each child gets plenty of attention. Teachers are excellent - firm but nurturing. The whole school - teachers, staff, parents, and students - is one large, loving and encouraging family. We also love that it is a Christian school, where the students have chapel each week and Christian values and morals are taught and exemplified every day.

Our daughter has been at the Galloway School since PK3 and is now entering Kindergarden. Our youngest daughter is starting PK3 there this fall. We love the school! The education is unparalleled. Thanks to Galloway, my 5-year-old daughter is reading basic sentences and writing them as well. She knows some simple math and science, computer skills, and Spanish. A large part of that is the fact that the student to teacher ratio can't be beaten! In PK4, my daughter's class size was only 9 kids! The Kindergarden class size won't be much bigger than that. The teachers are loving and caring, yet provide great structure for the kids. Despite the fact that we live in one of the best school districts in Texas, we wouldn't want to send our kids anywhere else. They will get the best education and the best learning environment at The Galloway School.

If you are looking for a private school that has high academic standards and strives to challenge your child to the upper limits of their potential then this is the school for you. This is one of the few schools that focuses upon challenging the best and brightest as opposed to focusing upon minimum passing requirements to get the highest percentage of kids up to the next grade level. The type of parents who send their kids here are mostly professionals who understand the importance of a solid foundation in academics and character building and who actively participate in the school's activities and their children's homework. Case in point, for 2011, the Galloway school won the PSIA state championship over 105 other participating private schools. Also, every grade from Kindergarten through 7th grade scored in the top 99th percentile in the Iowa Test of Basic Skills. Please take these facts into account when evaluating your private school. Not everyone will be satisfied when you strive for such high standards.
