I have eaten here a lot over the years with dine in and carryout both. The food has always been good, and some of the management teams have been excellent. That being said, my last two visits will be my last at this location. Bot times I stopped in during their dinner rush in which they were very busy. I have no problem waiting, and understand how it is when things are a bit crazy. The problem with both visits was the exact same. We came in, stood at the counter for at least 5-6 minutes with the whole crew working on orders. Not one person, from the Manager on down acknowledged or spoke. I am not doing this business a favor, I am choosing to support it with my money. I will not wait, ignored.
Big shout out to Michelle in Friendswood! Food was awesome as usual, but the customer service I got from Michelle was WAY BETTER!!! She was smiling and happy. She listened to my order and took care of everything. I could also see that she was taking care of front counter and helping at the window AND helping at the fryers!! AMAZING!!! Y’all need ten more of her!
I went drive through with no cars in front nor behind me. I paid for my meal and the employee told me to pull up and that he’d bring my order out to me since the Cajun fries weren’t ready. I was waiting for 10 minutes and decided to go inside to see what was taking so long. I asked if my order was ready and it was not. I noticed the fries were ready but just sitting there and my sandwich was not even made. There were 4 employees working but I had to wait 15 minutes for cold food. Will NEVER go back to this location!!
My guilty pleasure!nI felt it necessary to update my review due to today's, April 15, 2020, visit. During a pandemic which is killing people all over the world, this Popeyes is refusing to protect themselves and its patrons. Every Friendswood business I've been to are full of employees wearing the safety gear. Kentucky fried chicken has won me over.nSHAME ON YOU FOR NOT HAVING BETTER SENSE!
My wait for the food on a Monday evening was 30 min long. They looked under staffed, but everyone was honestly working very hard. My food was still hot and delicious!
