Mr. Dale is an amazing man. I use to take my dad who had dementia to see Mr. Dale. He treated my daddy with such respect and kindness. I really appreciate it. My dad's hair was wavy, straight, and difficult. He always had him looking spiffy in no time. Thank you so much. Mr. Dale.

I was in town visiting a friend in Sherman Texas. I was just referring to haircut if how many listings I called and asked him if he had room for me and what was price range was and Dale responded to me I have been cutting hair for 64 years in this town people call and ask me for the price I don't give out a price we got room for you we'd like to see you here. I knew that I had a winner a mammoth Integrity style and grace that have been balanced out over the last sixty four years at Southdale to serve in the Korean war came back and couldn't find a job so he started cutting hair and if you do it ever since full of energy and full of spunk and humor Dallas 87 years old give me one of the best haircuts I've had the fastest haircuts in 20 years thank you Dale

Dale has been cutting hair for more than 65 yrs. At the same location, knows you by name. Has cut the hair of almost every judge and law officer in Grayson county since he open. He could have retired yrs. Ago but loves people and personal while cutting hair, asking about family.

Authentic old- school, mens barber shop complete with straight razor neck shave. Situated in downtown Old Sherman, Texas. Dale is an 86 year old Korean vet with more than six decades experience cutting hair. He is the epitome of southern hospitality and a fountain of area knowledge and history. If you're a vet and have a unit patch or pin you can spare he will proudly display it in his shop. If it's war stories you want then you'll talk as long as you want. Dale is a patriot and a hero. He represents the gifts given to us by The Greatest Generation.
