Its a beautiful place, but be very careful when walking especially through the wooded area. There are snakes and it is posted although only on one entrance and not the other. Ran into a baby copperhead on my way back through. Always look down on the ground AND in the trees. I've seen them on the trunks of trees as well.
Great park to go for a walk, jog, or bike ride. It actually extends up to 6 miles.nTrail is nice- just wish it was a little wider.nOther than that- great park and scenery!
Lovely park, lots and lots of trees. I didn't get a chance to actually walk around the park, just parked to access the hike and bike trail, but it looked like the kids area was nice and there were a few places to sit and relax. Parking lot was small.
It's a great place for family gathering and outdoors activities.
