I had paid Rick to prepare my taxes in 2018. I came to the appointment with all the documents needed to submit as income for that year and was told they weren’t needed for the submission. 3 years later the irs contacted me claiming I owe money from unclaimed income on my taxes the year 2018. When I presented the problem to the office and after multiple attempts to get some answers “Pearland booking” told me just to pay the tax, claimed I never showed the required documents, offering no assistance or recognition to the mistake made.
