This is a beautiful park located on the Colorado River. It is very spacious, lots of shade, restrooms, and picnic tables. There are also grills available for those wanting to cook. I would recommend a visit!
Peaceful park. The walk down to the water was a bit dangerous but the trails farther down by the river made up for it. Would defently visit again.
Hate to share as this is a best kept secret. Most people, even locals, don't even know its there. However, I have to give kuddos to the city parks management. We have come here for 30 years for picnics and bdays. I used to eat lunch here everyday. It is my very favorite place. It is always clean and cared for. Even after the floods in which it was completely submerged. A gem for sure.
Best little park in Texas. Need I say more?
Nice quiet place to take the kiddos to eat their lunch. Enjoyed the scenery
