Not only have I received such outstanding customer service from NBT, they continue to improve and update their banking services so that I can easily manage my accounts anywhere I go. I feel confident trusting them with my finances, and the staff is always so friendly and willing to assist me.
Their estimate of my solar panel tax rebate was off by $7000. This messed up my ZIP amount which increased my monthly payments for the next 15 years going forward. Even if I get the rest of the rebate next year, they won't re-amortize the loan and now I'm stuck with higher payments forever. I was told I could re-negotiate the loan this month so I paid as much as I could, but that turned out to be a lie. Now they're saying I can't do that for over 10 years! I was promised a 3 month deferment, instead they only offered a 1 month deferment that charges me extra at the end of the loan.
NBT is now offering Customized Service! The Bank is learning and adding new ways to take care of allnIt’s customers!
