It is a beautiful sample of homes from long ago. There was flea market going on all around the little park when we visited. It was a bit of a distraction but it did not take away from the quaintness of the cabin.

There was an exhibition of scarecrows made by local businesses and citizens that just wanted to have fun. Check it out. Get out have fun just be safe

So, yeah. This was worthwhile. If one is into wood working and prairie architecture, this lil'cabin is an excellent choice for study. Axe marks and dowels still visible.

I came upon this historic cabin while on layover for the weekend. Not only was this an interesting little place to see but the town itself has a lot of history and homes surprisingly well kept. The best part of my weekend was coming upon the Annual Art & Wine Fest, April 28th 2019. A great deal on tastings, wonderful vendors, and good food in a safe welcoming environment, what more can you ask for.
