Nice environment and pleasant customer service. The fried apricot pie was flavorful and well presented. The fried jalapenos were lacking. The ranch dipping sauce was so so. The basic hamburger was tasty, but a little small. I will try it again sometime with my wife and see how things go. Pricing was fair. Public parking readily available.
Don’t be distracted by the notch-above-average quality of the burgers. The staff was aloof, cold, and unfriendly and apparently had never actually made a burger before as it took them 40 minutes to make 2. Not only did I die of old age waiting on the food, but the buns seemed as though they pulled them out of a refrigerator and placed them directly on the burger. On top of all of this, the ketchup that was on the table had probably been in the bottle since the last Cowboys Super Bowl. I’ve never had fermented tomatoes before but I don’t recommend them. Average burger, cold staff, great tomato wine!
Horrible experience.nnOnly one employee wearing their mask properly.nnFamily member with egg allergy ordered a salad. The menu doesn't list that it contains eggs. After receiving the item, it has a boiled egg on top. We told the staff about her allergy. Instead of remaking it without the egg, the employee literally grabbed the boiled egg off the salad and gave it back. After demanding a new salad, another employee walked up, took the old salad, and brought us a new one.nnMy own burger was not made how I ordered. After taking it back, the employee (the same one who just took the egg off of the salad and gave it back) asked me if i just wanted the things I was missing on another tray, completely disregarding the toppings that were on the burger that I didn't want.nnAlso, former employees have told me about how they only get paid a couple dollars an hour because they receive tips. However, the employees are not servers. You order at the register, fill your own drink, then sit down. They call your order number when your food is ready and then, you go to the counter to get it. Whataburger employees do more actual serving by bringing the food to you and they don't receive tips.nnNever eat here.
Another great place to eat! They say it takes a little bit as they make everything fresh, and it was worth the wait. Fantastic burgers, and the homemade onion rings hit the spot. A must try if you're looking for a great burger.
