This is a wonderful school... maybe if u tried to be nice to the teachers, they would be nice to u!! yes yes i know that there are SOME teachers that have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what they are teaching us about and give us the answers to everything, but, for the most part, the teachers are great. tbh... the food in the cafeteria is awful!!!! The teachers are really not that strict! The Orchestra program is amazing, but still needs some growing, but were getting there. Also...Coach Stark should remain health teacher.

Pros:n- Decent cafeteria foodn- Science dept. is great and deserves a raisen- Algebra I teacher is fantastic and deserves a raisen- English dept. isn't badn- Athletics coaches are pretty coolnnCons:n- As a general matter, the sheer amount of preference and special treatment given to female students is appalling, particularly in punishments.n- The school counselors need to stick to that stuff and stop inserting themselves into things that do not concern them or the school.n- Despite it not being a serious problem, the bullying report system is an absolute joke. Any response by administration is a pathetic affair, unless the alleged incident was male-on-female, in which it is code red/all hands on deck.n- The turnover at the theatre dept. is also seriously concerning and indicative of larger administration failures.n- The sheer amount of micro-management is ridiculous, and any comparison to a prison is not hyperbole by any stretch of the imagination.n- The headphone rule is particularly ludicrous.n- The librarian is constantly rude and unhelpful to male students. A cursory observation would erase any doubts about this not being the case.n- Any complaints regarding alleged improper and disrespectful behavior by certain teachers mentioned in other reviews should be investigated and dealt with forthright.

Pearson Middle School is actually a decent school to all of the people talking bad about Pearson. I do agree that there are some things that do need more work but compared to other schools we are by far one of the most developed. School is also not a 5 Star restaurant so I don’t understand why people care so much that they have to comment about it. If the food bothers you so much that you have to give it one star... JUST BRING LUNCH it’s not that hard. It’s not true that giving teachers extra kindness or whatever will get you a better education. We are here to learn and teachers are here to teach. Even if you don’t say anything at all to any of your teachers the whole year they will still treat you the same and still help you learn everything you need to for that year. And to all of those people calling the teachers sexist I’m sorry but this is life. You get discouraged for being a guy, you get discouraged for being a girl so if you want to argue with life in the review section for Pearson Middle School, it won’t do you any good.
