Most incompetent racetrac in north Texas. Absolutely never and I mean never restock receipt paper at pumps. They only get business from only because of proximity to work. Same response every time sorry.

They said they were closed while two employees were on the phone at the counter

At approximately 5:45pm on Sunday, May 24th, 2020, I pulled into the parking lot of RaceTrac Store #2370 off of 121 Business in Lewisville, TX to get air for a punctured tire I sustained on the highway. As I approached the air machine, I realized it was both an air machine and vacuum combo unit, and it was going to cost me $1.50 to use it, as denoted by all the signage attached to the machine. Despite the seemingly exorbitant fee, I surrendered my 6 quarters to the machine and was then prompted to make my selection for either air or vacuum. Much to my added dissatisfaction, the machine wouldn’t register any of my button presses to select air. Frustrated by what I presumed was an unfortunate, isolated bit of bad luck, I went inside to be reimbursed the $1.50 I just had taken from me by their malfunctioning machine. When I entered the storefront, a young cashier asked how he was able to help me. I politely explained to him that I was seeking a refund for the $1.50 their machine just took from me without rendering any services. He lackadaisically informed me that, “the air is actually free here, and the button we use to operate it from inside is broken at the moment. Also, to get your refund, you’ll need to contact the number on the machine because we don’t handle that stuff here,” verbatim. I was appalled. Not only was there absolutely no indication of “free air” anywhere on or in the vicinity of the machine (or anywhere on the premises, that I was able to notice), but they were AWARE that their machine was inoperable, yet there was no signage anywhere to warn people of the broken equipment and the impending forfeiture of their money for no services rendered. Moreover, the only way I was going to be refunded for their incompetence, laziness, and disregard for their customers was by jumping through a bunch of unnecessary hoops, all for a measly six quarters. All of this could have been avoided with a simple sign, but alas, I was inconvenienced to learn the hard way. At this point, admittedly, I was frustrated. The male employee’s body language and communication were indicative of zero empathy. He shrugged his shoulders at my inquisition to the lack of signage for either the machine being out of service or the free air he claimed they offered. It was at this point, his female counterpart aggressively interjected — the very abhorrent and reprehensible behavior that single-handedly prompted me to take the time out of my day to write contact you. She loudly and combatively said, “we will put a sign up, okay?!” Completely baffled and shocked at her inexcusable interjection, I angrily and sarcastically replied, “do you want me to put it up? Because I can see you guys are clearly too busy,” considering there were two employees and zero customers in the store at the time of this incident, and that it hadn’t already been addressed despite their awareness of their broken equipment. At this point, she raised her hand to me so as to signal for me to be quiet, and condescendingly and sarcastically waved me off to the tune of, “have a nice day, sir.” I reciprocated the same sarcastic retort, but she simply repeated herself louder, with more physical animation, and more ire in her delivery.nnI was literally awe-struck at this young woman’s behavior, and I know for a fact that her response to this situation and her attitude are not aligned with RaceTrac’s values or their expectations for their employees. I highly suggest you reevaluate your relationship with this employee in particular, as her behavior has likely resulted in the loss of my business for the foreseeable future. Additionally, I will do everything in my power to ensure everyone I know is made aware of my experience, and I will actively campaign for people to avoid this location as a result. Just an absolutely disgraceful, disgusting, and utterly disappointing interaction with a deplorable, unprofessional, embarrassment of a representative to your brand.

I stopped for coffee at midnight on and they were cleaning all 5 coffee machines at the same time. They could have clean one at a time or at least leave one on for customers to use. I asked if there was no coffee the employee said no he hadn't even started cleaning them he was doing something else at the moment I walked in, I had to ask if he can get one ready for me. I had to wait about 6 minutes for him to clean them.
