Went here for the first time last week. This place is awesome. Can't wait to go again and try new items. Yalls smoked wings are amazing.
We found this place on the way home from a cruise. We saw the sign saying 10 more miles. We'd been looking for a place to eat and barbecue was one of the few things NOT served on the cruise. It was clean. We were greeted by the two young ladies working. We were very pleased with our meals. The girls loved the free soft serve. There were 3 sauce choices - including Dickey's Sauce. It was great. We had never heard of this restaurant but learned there were several franchises all over the country.
Ok we have not eaten Dickeys in years. My wife and I have had it maybe twice in the past. Well it lives up to our previous expectations, Not good! My wife's opinion; chicken too dry, even with sauce. Green beans, have an after-taste. The corn on cob, was mushy. My brisket was decent. The hot sausage, was not hot. I liked the spicy sauce. The green beans were good and the jalapeno beans decent. My wife and I liked the pavan pie, but the chocolate pie, was not so good. The meringue was like rubber.
Tried their smoked chicken wings for the first time today. Very very good nice seasoning they had a great mix of large sized and medium sized wings plus the price at $6.99 is excellent compared to other places that you might get wings from.Some restaurants in general usually charge $11.99 and up. Great job you guys good wings great value keep up the good work.
