John was hired by my mom as her trust attorney in 2006. I never really knew exactly what a trust was or what it did until my mom died April 17th of 2017. The sibilings all went to see him together and he walked us through the process giving us a clear understanding of what was ahead. My brother w a s name executor of the trust and if it was not for the help of Mr. Oden my brother would have been lost and probably made a lot of mistakes that could affect is legally. John was able to take HUGE problems and find a simple solution. He was also able to keep the trust fair and equal between the siblings. A trust is different then a will because it can not be contested like a will and it holds a lot more protection within it, like from outside creditors and such. John is very kind, soft spoken and smart but he is also frank and forward and honest. If you are looking for someone that can help plan the future for your family then he is a great person to go to.
