I came in because Elke's brought sandwiches to my business and I wanted to try them out for myself. I got a breakfast sandwich which I enjoyed. However, it's a bit contradictory to have signs about wearing a mask inside and hand sanitizer stations when the manager on duty couldn't wear one himself. Maybe adhere to your own guidelines? Just a suggestion.nnEdit as response to owner: It wasn't forgetfulness. The man noticed my uncomfort, pulled his mask up, then pulled it back down to take my order. The response soured my experience.
I miss Elke and Tim but the new owners are good people and they’re doing a good job! Everything is still fantastic. If you haven’t been to this place, you haven’t lived.
Stopped by when we were in the area after a friend recommended it. Got some sandwiches to go (they were delicious!) as well as a loaf of bread and a container of soup for later. We'll definitely be back!
Elke's catered a small family luncheon following our daughter's wedding. We chose the chipotle pork tenderloin with ginger habanero sauce, cilantro rice, fiesta corn casserole and green salad with cilantro ranch dressing. The food was very good with generous portions. Compliments all the way around!
Sorry. Really missed. Had the nutty sandwich and the Greek pasta salad. Liked the sandwich. Although it literally had almost no turkey and just a little bacon. The pasta salad was really tasteless. And the tea. Ok. No ice. It came to $13.50. I could have had a good meal. Bottom line it will be 4 or 6 months before I go here for another disappointment.
