I attended 2007-2011. Best school in Brownsville. Your kid will get exposed to all cultures, socioeconomic backgrounds, and will learn fine. Other schools are not as culturally diverse as this one.
I cannot explain how immature the students act. Although most are starting Freshman. I can only hear immature swearing 24/7 through out my lunch time from what were supposed to be juniors and seniors and Even Worse from the Younger classes. I have not seen the Office or Security do much about these besides shout at them to stop, but I will give credit to the security, they are nice and have stopped plenty of fights and arguments that could have led to further problems. The administration has done what they can to make this school Interesting to say the least. The school can hopefully do better lunches since I stopped eating their lunches after I had a worm in my corn, but It's the students themselves that are making this school a hell. Immaturity and lack of discipline rein over.
Great experience to be from this high school. I had a blast and learned a lot from all my great teachers.

I personally appreciated this school, I had fun, culturally diverse, large social foundation, preparation for college comes into play for those who want it.
