Absolutely beautiful place to camp. My wife and I and our small dog stayed at #14 in the dogwood camping area. We had very friendly neighbors who lent a hand when we needed. We had a tent and are kinda new to camping. Very clean park, excellent hiking, and fun things to do at the lake. Would highly recommend if your looking for a chance to get away. Whether your in a tent or a nice and comfy camper, you are sure to have fun!

Amazing!!! First time RV'ING and this park was over the top. We had a spot so close to the water, full RV hook ups, super quiet and a fire pit!!. We love how everyone respected quiet time, no loud music, no dogs barking, no loud talking etc. We went hiking with the dogs and even they seemed to enjoy nature!!! We had the best sleep ever, don't know how or why, but we slept like babies, all of us. We ended up buying the pass for the whole year. Totally recommend this place.

Daingerfield is a small, more intimate state park. Many of the tent sites are relatively private and many are close to trails. Restrooms and showers are great, the lake is wonderful, staff is nice. If you love tall pines and are looking for a quieter day trip or stay, I highly recommend this state park.

Clean. Love the trails. Plenty of open space for all kinds of activities. Campsites are a bit too close to each other, though. We'll maintained park, though. We'd go back, for sure!

Wife and I took the dogs for a hike around the lake. The trails were well maintained and we found neat little signs along the trail with interesting facts about local wildlife. Beautiful and quiet park with nice facilities and plenty to do and see.
