This is a long time coming,nnAs mentioned on other reviews of how poor this rink is ran I can definitely confirm that this place is a cess pool of toxic managers in charge that love nothing more than to amplifying the never ending drama that surrounds their employees, managers, the owners and whatever last standing loyal customers that still choose to go back to this circus show.nnMost of their customers including their qualified coaches for skating/hockey have been ran off to the Aerodrome rink in Houston. Due to the fact the staff at Spirit Ice Arena really love to air out other peoples personal business to the entire rink just to stir up the place for a month or two so they can get a reaction out of people to feed their drama-filled addiction.nnThe hockey program and especially the the learn to play program need a serious revamp. The people in charge as of now have no sort of qualifications nor any clue what they are doing in the slightest. It's embarrassing to watch the incompetence of the person in charge. how can you manage and teach the learn to play program when you can barely skate yourself and lack basic fundamental of the sport?nnMost of the coaches if not all of them that are currently teaching at Spirit are inexperienced operations employees of the rink or junior players that are asked to do it FOR FREE! why? Because Spirit decided to stop paying coaches some time ago, telling their coaches that they have to personally go ask the parents for money themselves. Which It's very unprofessional! Never has it been a coaches job to ask ever single parent directly for payment after the session ends. That's something that should be worked out with the rink during registrations.nnIf you want to learn to skate or put your kid into skating/hockey I would recommend going else where so you can get your time and moneys worth. The commute to the Aerodrome rink in Houston is 100% worth in my opinion. There you'll be well greeted by the professional staff, have highly qualified coaches that are actually paid for their work, and gave the resource needed to make hockey/figure skating a more predominate sport in the state of Texas.nnIf I could give this place a negative score I would, as they deserve it. Out of all the rinks I've been to in my life I've never seen such a horrific business model ran by a bunch of incompetent psychopaths at Spirit Ice Arena.

Great activity to do with friends, during the week it seems that they have ice hockey practice later at night so check their schedule if you’re planning on going later in the day Monday- Thursday
