A fabulous example of the city, citizens, and students all working together. In September 2016 the gardens were dug and created by the city of College Station with a promise from interested citizens “Butterflies in the Brazos “would sustain and care for the gardens. As time goes on the garden gets more and more beautiful, and mature- and there are plots in the garden that citizens, student groups, scout troops or patrols, neighbors, anyone interested, can sign up to care for. Planting milkweed is the top priority for every garden plot!
